Film Photography:

This class has effected me as a person and as a photographer. Let me explain. Film photography takes a great deal of patients and tranquility. I am a very active, jumpy, and anxious person. This class at first caused me to get frustrated, so much so that I ended up dreading coming to class. However, after a couple more classes I learned to appreciate the art and remain calm and persistent. This helped me as a person also, it has helped me learn to be patient and persistent in other situations also. In this class my art focused mostly on my sisters, dog, and friends. The reason behind this is having pictures of things that evoked my emotions drove me to want them to be perfect. While I struggled in the class I loved it and it only furthered my love for this art

 

Digital Photography:

This class was definitely  a learning process for me. It was the first time I had ever used photoshop and not to my surprise I absolutely loved it. Digital imaging was a class I looked forward too, although it was difficult at times there was always something new and easy to learn. I loved messing around with the multiple ways to do one task, it only furthered my love for this art. My pictures mainly focused around nature and friends. This is mainly because in digital imaging it is so easy to capture the vibrance of color in everything. Taking pictures of friends evoked emotion from me and drove me to persevere in my editing even when it got difficult.
